Calgary Stampede. Follow us as we travel through Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and then to the Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada.

Colorado Sand Dunes National Monument. We spent one summer fishing Blue Mesa Reservoir out of Gunnison, Colorado.  After fishing ended, we started to explore new areas, and this is one of them.

Golbin Valley. On our way up north, we stopped by Goblin Valley in Utah.  This has many rock formations and is a fun place to see.

Three Rivers Petroglyph. There are over 21,000 prehistoric Jornada Mogollon rock art in this area, which makes this one of the largest and most interesting, rock art sites in the Southwest.  Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

White Sands National Monument. This was another stop we made after visiting Three Rivers Petroglyphs. This is 275 square miles of desert, creating the world’s largest gypsum dune field. 

Inside Passage From Vancouver Island, Canada to Skagway, Alaska. For three summers, we fished for salmon off of Vancouver Island. In 1984 we took the ferry system with the truck and camper and spent several weeks at different ports sightseeing the area.

Summer Of 1985 - From Nevada to Idaho, to Banff, Louise, Jasper, and the Northwest Territories in Alberta, Canada. Follow us as we travel through some of the most scenic areas of Alberta, Canada.

Mexico Mainland - 1969.  We have driven the mainland side of Mexico twice and drove the Baja highway to Cabo 

San Lucas.  This trip is our first trip to Mexico with our 1969 Lazy Daze motorhome.  Crossing the border at Nogales and going south to Puerto Vallarta and the small fishing village of Yelapa.


Mexico Mainland - 1973.  This is our second trip to the mainland side of Mexico.  It was a three-week trip spending time in San Carlos and Mazatlan.

Baja Mexico - 1976.  Just three years after the Transpeninsular Highway 1 was completed in 1973 from Tijuana at the U.S. Mexico border with Cabo San Lucas we started another journey for a month driving the Baja Highway.

Alaska - The Alcan Highway - 1978.  Come follow us as we drive the Alcan Highway a year after the completion of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.  This was a six-week trip with our Lazy Daze motorhome and we drove over 3,500 miles of dirt roads.

Hawaiian Islands - 1988.  Come follow us as we take a cruise ship to travel the Hawaiian Islands.  This was a special trip as we will be celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary.  Also, when we return we will be getting another travel companion.

Lake Powell - 1966.  Our week trip over the Labor Day Holiday exploring Lake Powell from Wahweap Marina, AZ to Hall’s Crossing.
