ALL ABOUT OUR ONE-OF-A-KIND GREGOR BOAT
This is a 1979 - 15 foot Gregor H-51L Aluminum Fishing Boat with a Johnson 25 hp long shaft motor with an electric start, and a 1997 Shoreland'r trailer. The specifications of the boat are Centerline 15'-1" - Gunwale 15'-9" - Beam 66" - Bow 28" - Amid 26" - Stern 22" - Transom 20" - Weight 214 pounds, and Capacity 1010 pounds.
The Gregor boat is a heavy-duty model that features a thick 0.063-inch bottom and sides that make this an excellent boat for the river, lakes, and ocean. The boat is fully loaded and includes a 20-inch deep transom for ocean fishing with a splash well, center steering console, two swivel seats, a locking bow compartment, a sunshade with a zippered vinyl cover, four solar sunscreens that attach to the sunshade to provide more shade when fishing. We have added exterior plywood on the floor to make a flat surface to walk on and then installed blue indoor/outdoor carpeting over that. We have a boat cover with PVC supports inside to keep the water out at all times.
Also, included is a 23-channel CB, a Shakespeare 8-foot CB antenna that folds down, an external speaker, running lights on the bow and stern, an extra load propeller, two life vests, large oars for rowing, and a small paddle. Two anchors with chains and 100 feet of rope, a plastic windshield, compass, pet sunshade, motor lock, padded rear seats on the rear bench seat, fire extinguisher, four-rod holders, cup holder, and a Lowrance X-75 fish finder with speed, temperature, mileage meter, and reads to ocean depths.
The custom-made boat cover is made with Sunbrella canvas fabric known to be the best in the industry for boat covers and sunshades. We recently treated the canvas fabric with 303 High Tech Fabric Guard to give a protective coating for protection against rain, and mildew and is soil resistant. The boat’s beam is 67 inches wide and carries six people.
The 1979 Johnson 25 hp motor with an electric start is a long shaft motor. It was just tuned up at a local marine shop, including the carburetor, and the compression is excellent, the lower unit was serviced, along with new plugs. A new six-gallon gas tank and a one-year-old battery in a battery box is included. We replaced the coil, power pack, water pump, shift, and throttle cables, and have a spare shift cable, tools, bumper guard, lower unit lube, 50:1 oil, along with many extra parts. This motor runs great and will go 34 mph.
