Calgary Stampede. Follow us as we travel through Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and then to the Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada.
Colorado Sand Dunes National Monument. We spent one summer fishing Blue Mesa Reservoir out of Gunnison, Colorado. After fishing ended we started to explore new areas, and this is one of them.
Golbin Valley. On our way up north we stopped by Goblin Valley in Utah. This has many rock formations and is a fun place to see.
Three Rivers Petroglyph. There are over 21,000 prehistoric Jornada Mogollon rock art in this area, which make this one of the largest and most interesting rock art sites in the Southwest. Located in Las Crusces, New Mexico.
White Sands National Monument. This was another stop we made after visiting Three Rivers Petroglyph’s. This is 275 square miles of desert, creating the world’s largest gypsum dunefield.
Inside Passage From Vancouver Island, Canada to Skagway, Alaska. For three summers we fished for salmon off of Vancouver Island. In 1984 we took the ferry system with the truck and camper and spent several weeks at different ports sightseeing the area.
